1. What is RESITE SP?RESITE SP is a support application that runs on each end user system. It sits in the background on the client desktop, and monitors the context of the current application. When relevant help to the application is found, RESITE SP notifies the end user. 2. How can I automatically update help in RESITE SP?You can automatically link help by purchasing RESITE Recorder & RESITE Publisher with SP. Publisher will automatically link and update any help content that was either imported through Publisher, or added through RESITE Recorder. To find out more information about RESITE Recorder or RESITE Publisher, click the supporting links. 3. What documents can I link into RESITE SP?You can link any hosted document into RESITE SP. RESITE SP does not host the content itself. If you have specific requirements, or are unsure about the nature of your files in regards to linking, please contact us at sales@insiteobjects. 4. When/Where can RESITE SP be used?RESITE SP will notify you when there is context sensitive help available through an icon located at the bottom of your screen. Should there be no help, the icon will remain inactive. RESITE SP also works when an end user is not plugged into the network. They can access RESITE SP while out in the field or at another location, then when they return, they can update to the most recent SP content by connecting through network. 5. Can RESITE SP be personalized?Yes. RESITE SP comes with a Favorites tab. When a user finds content which is helpful, they can mark it with a star. This content is then accessible again and again through the Favorites tab. You can also set a threshold to the level of help you wish to see. Each of these are completely unique to the user. 6. Can RESITE SP be used as a standalone application?Yes. You can manually create links to hosted content directly through RESITE SP, and do not require any of the other RESITE products. RESITE SP does not host content itself. 7. How do I get access to technical support?Phone, Email and Web help desk is included as part of the maintenance agreement. There is no charge per case.
